Available DOGS
Ace
Ace, Male, American Bulldog/Cane Corso, 2 years old, 82 lbs.
Ace is looking for a new home only because his person has serious medical issues and is, sadly, in the hospital more than at home. Ace has been well-loved and responsibly cared for. Fortunately, Ace is such a happy-go-lucky fella he is rolling with this big change in his life.
Ace is a very friendly and social guy. He wants to meet and be friends with everyone. He is always up for a walk, hike or car ride. Ace is also a water baby. His swimming skills are not the best but highly entertaining to watch. His enthusiasm and size would best suit strong active people and older children.
He is good with other dogs and currently lives with a senior dog. Being an only dog or having a slightly older female buddy would work well for Ace.
Ace is house and crate trained. He has been to training classes as well. He is quite good on leash unless he’s distracted by people and dogs he’d like to meet. Ace is a big puppy who would benefit from some fine-tuning with continued training. His recall is excellent and he stays within range of his people.
Ace is perfect for people who want a big lovable goof in their lives!
Ace has been neutered, microchipped, and his vaccinations are up to date. The adoption fee for Ace is $600.00.

Bonnie
Bonnie, female, Beagle/Husky X, 14 weeks old, 15 lbs
This fun, outgoing little girl is Bonnie and she loves everyone even the vet. Bonnie is also a brave and curious little pup. We estimate she will be a small to medium size dog at maturity
Bonnie could do well in a variety of homes as long as they can give her the time, attention and exercise that a growing pup will need.
If you can give Bonnie the love and attention that she needs and deserves you will have a great canine companion.

Riley
Riley, Female, Aussie/Beagle, 2.5 years old, 29 lbs.
Little Riley is a bundle of love and all for tummy rubs. She hasn’t met a human she doesn’t like.
Although she hasn’t met many new dogs recently, she has been great with the ones she has met. They have all been larger dogs, so we don’t know how she is with small ones. Riley has only met a couple of cats and seems respectfully afraid of them.
Cuddles and exploring are Riley’s things. She is a great little companion on walks but will pull if something catches her interest. She does have a mild environmental allergy of unknown origin. Like people, she gets itchy and her eyes get watery. It has been easy to treat when it pops up.
Being smart and agile, we don’t recommend leaving Riley to her own devices outside. She is NOT an escape artist, but could climb some types of fences to pursue an interest or to go look for her people. She also might dig a hole or two if she’s bored or just to help with the gardening.
Riley is crate and house-trained. She likes to nap and sleep overnight in her crate. Riley knows sit, down and wait very well. Come, on the other hand, she prefers to ignore. Riley is smart and food-motivated, so further training shouldn’t be a big challenge.
With her happy-go-lucky personality, Riley will be a great family dog. Riley mirrors the energy she’s around. If the people are calm, she is calm. If the people are amped up, so is she. Because of this, young children may not be the best fit.
Riley is a fun and cuddly girl looking for an active and affectionate family. If you’re looking for a little buddy to go for walks or hikes, hang out in the yard, go for car rides, and snuggle in the evenings, Riley ticks all the boxes.
Riley has been spayed, microchipped, and her vaccinations are up-to-date. The adoption fee for Riley is $600.00.

Addison
Addie, Female, Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees X, 8 months old, 64 lbs.
Addison, affectionately known as Addie, is an amazing companion pup. She is loving and loyal and sticks by her people. She loves the perks of being a house pet but also loves being outdoors.
She spent her first 6 months on a farm with goats and a variety of fowl. With a little guidance through her teen phase, Addie will be a stellar companion and working dog.
If you’re looking for an affectionate pup, oh my goodness, Addie LOVES pets. She’ll smush her face right into you as far as she can go. Her foster mom says Addie has the cutest face when she flops over for pets.
When Addie isn’t napping inside, she likes to work hard outside sitting at the highest point overseeing the property. In between her work and rest, Addie loves to play.
Addie is a smart and independent yet sensitive girl. She learns fast! Unlike a lot of livestock guardians, Addie is treat-motivated. She is also fully housetrained and crate-trained.
When meeting new people and dogs, a little time is all that’s needed before Addie’s gentle shyness disappears and her playful affectionate nature comes out.
Addie is perfect for a family who loves the outdoors and rural life. Helping with the chores, hiking and kicking back with her people make up Addie’s nirvana.
Addie has been spayed, microchipped, and her vaccinations are up to date. The adoption fee for Addie is $600.00.

Please direct all application requests and queries for Chico to lovingdogs61@gmail.com.
Chico, Male, Labrador/Bully, 2 years old, 72 lbs.
HI meet Chico! He is a sweet boy who originally had a family and lived with children. Chico ended up in a shelter because the family could not afford to take him back.
Chico is friendly and loving and good-natured with people and dogs. He’s a happy-go-lucky silly boy who enjoys life. We don’t know for sure how he is with cats. We suspect he would be fine because of his personality and he doesn’t have a prey drive.
Chico is a good boy and smart. He doesn’t have a lot of training but is learning fast. He is crate and housetrained. Chico loves his walks and has been working on his leash skills to curb his enthusiasm…he is a strong boy. He also loves car rides, playing in the yard, and just hanging out with everyone.
Beautiful inside and out, Chico is perfect for people who want to bring a whole lot of joy into their lives.
Chico has been neutered, microchipped, and his vaccinations are up-to-date. Chico’s adoption fee is $400.00. Please contact lovingdogs61@gmail.com with questions or to request an adoption application.
Seneca
Seneca, Male, Akbash, 1 year old, 92 lbs.
Even at 1 year old it is easy to see the magnificent dog Seneca will become. He was born on a farm where his parents protect fowl. Since then he has been a working companion to people, goats and horses.
Seneca is sensitive and smart. He is very affectionate with people he trusts and is shy with strangers. Much like a shy kindergartener on the first day of school, Seneca will hide behind his person when he’s uncomfortable.
Seneca has the interesting combination of courage and coward which is a common personality type of the breed. This personality type makes for funny memories and stories. Seneca is so endearing and amusing.
Being an exceptionally devoted boy, Seneca will go where and do what his people want. But what Seneca wants is to be at home where he feels comfortable and happy doing his job of keeping watch over his world.
Seneca would love a homestead, farm or other rural setting to call his own. He is a wonderful companion and is well on his way to being a fabulous guardian.
Seneca has been neutered, microchipped, and his vaccinations are up to date. The adoption fee for Seneca is $600.00.

Ava
Ava, Female, Anatolian Shepherd X, 5 months old, 48 lbs.
Ava is a country girl. She started her life on a farm where her mom and dad are guardians of goats and fowl.
But she also enjoys the benefits of being a companion pup in her foster home. Ava has the makings to be a stellar companion and/or working dog.
Ava is calm, respectful and sometimes a little shy with adults but gravitates instantly to children. It doesn’t take her long to find her comfort zone though.
Ava is also respectful and submissive when meeting other dogs. She is naturally polite; responding appropriately to other dogs’ cues. A big brother to show her the ropes would be a perfect match for Ava.
When Ava connects with her people and environment her confidence blossoms. She is fun-loving, playful and affectionate. She loves being outside, going for walks, swimming and helping her people do the chores.
Ava will be a great farm and family dog for country folk looking for a loyal and loving family member and/or farm hand.
Ava has been vet checked, microchipped, and her vaccinations are up to date. Home Again offers an adoption rebate upon receipt of proof of spay when Ava is old enough. The adoption fee for Ava is 650.00.
