Genie, female, black short hair, born Oct.30.

Genie and 2 siblings were found, freezing, in the snow at about one month old. She is so grateful to live inside with a kind foster who has other cats and a dog.
She was very playful at Caturday at Pet Valu and allowed everyone to pick her up.

Lily
Lily, female merle Chihuahua. 2 years old, 12 lbs.
This beautiful little girl is looking for a very special home.
Lily can be timid.

She must be given a little time to warm up to new people but, once she does, she is a very affectionate little lady.
Sudden movements or noises may startle Lily so she is looking for a quiet new home
She is looking for a home with no young children,but dog knowledgable teenagers may even help Lily to make the transition to her forever home.
Lily has been spayed, her vaccinations are up to date and she has a micro chip.

Marley
Marley, male, black medium hair, born May 1, 2023.
He is healthy, though a bit chunky.

He is friendly with everyone, tolerates being picked up, but prefers to jump up beside you for petting.

Sparky
Sparky. Male Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher, 18 months,
17 lbs Sparky may seem like an odd mixture but in this case the mixture has become a very cut and lovable little dog

Happy, friendly, and gentle are all words that Sparky’s foster uses to describe him, Sparky gets along well with his fosters much larger dog and with her cats.
He gets along well with older children.
At first Sparky was not very playful but as he becomes more settled in his foster home, this side of Sparky is developing.
Sparky is crate trained and house trained and understands and follows basic commands.

Sparky is looking for a home where he will get lots of love and attention.
He would do well in a home with older, dog savvy children.

Peaches
Peaches, female, calico, short hair, born Sept.21, 2022.

Peaches greatly misses the senior lady, now deceased, who owned her. So she attached herself to the deceased’s adult daughter. She cozies up to that lady, demanding petting.
She does not like the young children in her foster home.

Tikka
Tikka, Female Springer Spaniel,/Walker X, 2 years old, 45 lbs
Tikka has clearly inherited the best of both her parents.She has their sweet nature and their lovely looks.

Tikka is a gentle , friendly loving young girl.
She gets on well with other dogs, with cats and with children.
You can see from the picture of Tikka with her pups that they inherited their parents looks.
Not surprisingly the pups quickly found ideal new homes.
Now Mother Tikka is ready to go to a new life.
We feel that a variety of homes should be suitable for her.
She will do well in a family with dog savvy children and with other dogs.
She will be happy to go for walks and to play with her new family and also to cuddle up indoors with them.

Homer
Homer, Male Walker Hound, 2 years old, 56 lbs
Homers foster describes him best when she says that he is “just a sweet kind soul.”

He he is good with cats and with other dogs and is great with children of all ages.
He is house trained..with just a little supervision Night time is no problem. Homer sleeps all night in his crate.
Not surprisingly, Homer loves to be outside. He loves to run and loves long walks.
