Dixon
Dixon, Male, Long Haired Chihuahua, 4 years old, 7.5 lbs
Isn’t Dixon a beautiful boy ? He has such a beautiful coat!
Dixon gets on well with the other small, female, foster in the house and with the fosters own female dog.
He is not so sure about male dogs.
His idea of playing with cats is to chase them. The cats do not usually appreciate this. Apart from this misunderstanding, Dixon is a well behaved little boy.
He will bark if he hears a strange noise or if there is someone knocking at the door but is not otherwise a noisy dog.
Dixon is pad trained but needs some more training to always use the outdoors.
Dixon loves to be petted. He likes nothing better than to lie on his back and have his tummy rubbed…and rubbed…and rubbed.
Dixon will love to be in a home where he will get lots of attention and perhaps the company of female dog.
He soon became very attached to his foster family and we are sure that he will settle in happily in a loving new home.
The adoption fee for Dixon is $600. He has been neutered, his vaccinations are up to date and he has a microchip.

TOP NEWS..

COMING SOON..
These pets need to be readied for
adoption, so please do not call until they appear on Available Cats or
Available Dogs. Many need vaccinations, spay/neuter, necessary
medical treatment, socialization and behaviour correction before they
can become your loving pet.
The mother cat of five kittens was killed by a car when they were still in the nursing stage. Home Again took them in and tried to get a lactating cat to feed them. Sadly, three died. These two survived and now eat food from a dish, in a loving foster home where they seek the companionship of the other cats and try to nurse off them. They may be ready for adoption August 1st. Orange tabby is male; grey tortoiseshell is female. Watch our website. Call 613-334-8471 to reserve one or both.

Pepper – CAT for SENIORS – PENDING
Pepper, female, black and white short hair, born Sept. 11, 2019. 15 pounds.
Pepper lived with a senior man who reluctantly surrendered her because of his health. You can tell she was well loved because she is so loving.
She is friendly with the other cats in her foster home.
Her adoption fee will be waived for the senior person who gives her a suitable home.

Joey – PENDING
Joey, Male, Bulldog/Boxer, 7 years old, 73 lbs.
With his distinctive black and white coat, Joey is an eye catcher. His sweet and happy nature makes him a keeper.
Joey is Mr. Affectionate and is regarded as quite a character by everyone who knows him. He loves to cuddle with his humans on the couch and enjoys getting tummy or back rubs. Meeting strangers is another golden opportunity, not to be missed, for getting additional pets. Joey is extremely friendly with all of the people and animals he meets.
Joey also loves to go for walks and car rides. He is strong but walks well on his leash and harness. Occasionally, he needs a reminder not to pull. When going for car rides, he likes to be in the front seat, when he is allowed, sitting and taking in the view. He is not boisterous and will go into the back seat when told.
Another Joey favourite is being outdoors in his fenced yard. He especially likes lying in the sun or rolling in the grass.
Joey is crate and house trained. He likes sleeping in his crate at night and willingly goes into it when his people go out for a while. He lets you know when he wants to go out for his “business” by going to the door or just staring you in the eye. He knows the commands sit and stay, and responds positively to the words “walk” or “car ride”. He is food-motivated and loves his dog treats.
Being an older dog, Joey likes napping in his bed or in the sun. And, being older means that he is well-trained and comfortable with people and his routine. He doesn’t demand a lot of attention as long as he gets lots of love, pats and companionship. Joey is used to being the only pet in the home, so that would be the ideal situation.
Joey has been neutered, microchipped, and his vaccinations are up to date. The adoption fee for Joey is $500.00.

BB
BB male, 2 yrs old, Aussie Lab mix, 55lbs
BB (aka Big boy) Aussie,? Lab? Hound? cross, its hard to say he came in as an unclaimed stray.
He is a wonderful sweet 2 year old looking for someone to lavish him with love which he will equally return. BB would prefer to be the only canine receiving your attentions but otherwise he is good with other dogs when properly introduced. He is very respectful of cats and unknown with children. He greets all people with a happy wagging tail.
BB listens really well knows basic commands is crate trained (although he will resist it at times if he thinks you are going out) and is house trained. BB walks well on a leash and prefers a leisurely pace so he can sniff. And he likes to be close by so likely he is good off leash too.
His perfect home would be with a good leader who is good at introducing him to other dogs and new things and is home most of the time as he does get anxious when alone and will sing his woes from the safety of his crate until you return.
BB has been vaccinated and neutered, vet checked
His Adoption fee is $600.00
Please send all inquiries and adoption requests to info@homeagainbancroft.ca

Zena
Zena, Female, Siberian Husky, 2.5 years old, 54 lbs.
Zena is a Husky lover’s dream, beauty, class and a little bit of sass. She has that Husky personality plus. Fun-loving, friendly and outgoing is our Zena.
If you are looking for a larger lapdog, Zena would like to apply. She is super affectionate and loves cuddling up with her people. In true Husky fashion, Zena enjoys having the occasional conversation with her people, too.
Zena has been spayed, microchipped, and her vaccinations are up to date. The adoption fee for Zena is $600.00.

Kay
Kay, Female, Siberian Husky, 2.5 years old, 55 lbs.
Kay would enjoy being someone’s walking, jogging or biking buddy. She can even pull a sled if that’s your thing. This is not to say that she’s the Energizer Bunny. In fact, Kay would best be described as an independent and calm gal, yet also very affectionate.
Like any Husky, Kay loves being outdoors, but she also loves lazing around the house. She knows basic commands, is housetrained and travels well in a vehicle. Kay is pretty good on a leash, too.
Kay has the right stuff to be a great family member in almost any home. She does need a properly fenced yard, so she doesn’t take herself on a run around the neighbourhood. Other than that, Kay is an easy girl who will bring much joy and beauty to her new people’s lives.
