Pepper
Pepper, female, black and white short hair, born Sept. 11, 2019. 15 pounds.
Pepper is afraid of strangers and hides from them. But she loves attention and petting by her foster parents.
Pepper was owned and well loved by the same senior man all her life. His ill health forced her surrender to Home Again.
She lived with another female cat a year older.

Lily
Lily, Female Chihuahua, 3 years old, 18.8 lbs.
You can see from the pictures that Lily has beautiful merle and white colouring.
She is a very pretty little girl.
Lily was a timid little girl when she first came to us. . It took time for her to trust her humans, but given time and patience and ,as the foster says, “It’s Magical”. You have a friend for life
Lily is good with cats and does well with other small dogs
Lily is crate trained and pad trained.
It was not easy to give her much outdoor time in cold weather to complete her house training ,especially not with deep snow.
Better weather will help her foster to take her out more.
Lily does well on a Lamb and Rice diet.
Dog savvy older children will love this little dog and a single person will have a loving little companion
The adoption fee for Lily is $600. She has been spayed, her vaccinations are up to date and she has a micro chip.

Riley
Riley is great with other dogs. She is a fantastic playmate but also enjoys just being a companion to the mellower pups. Riley has only met a couple of cats and she seems to be respectfully afraid of them.
Riley is crate and house trained. She likes to nap and sleep overnight in her crate. Riley knows sit, down and wait very well. Come, on the other hand, she prefers to ignore. Riley is smart and food motivated, so further training shouldn’t be a big challenge. Although, Riley is wonderful just the way she is.
Riley is a fun and cuddly girl looking for an active and affectionate family. She is well suited for an active couple or individual too. If you’re looking for a little buddy to go for walks or hikes, hang out in the yard, go for car rides, and snuggle in the evenings, Riley ticks all the boxes.

Rocky
Rocky is the best of both his breeds. He is smart, eager to please and loves the attention of his people. All while having the most happy-go-lucky nature.
Rocky travels quietly in the car but is a bit unsure about getting in. With each car ride, he’s getting better. This makes his foster people think he hasn’t had much experience in a car.
Rocky will thrive in a family home – or with anyone really – who wants a gentle and easygoing boy to adventure with.

Brothers Champ and Bear
Champ,male Shih tzu/Poodle X,5 years old, 12 lbs
Bear, male Shih Tzu/Poodle x, 5 years old,19 lbs
These sweet little Shih/Poos were abandoned. Their owners had left, taking all their possessions…..except their two little boys.
It is hard to believe that anyone would abandon these sweet lovable little boys and it is very fortunate that, after several days, a neighbour realized that the dogs were still in the house and called HomeAgain.
Nobody has claimed them.
Both boys are adorable. When you snuggle with one the other is squeezing in to get his share of the snuggles.
The are good with other dogs and have been around the fosters two cats without any problems.
They are house broken and will let you know if they want to go out,
Their foster tells us that Champ is the baby and loves nothing better than being cuddled and to snuggle up to you whenever he gets the chance.
Bear is also very loving but he is more independent. He likes to sleep in his own bed. The boys start the night together but in the morning, Champ is in his fosters bed and Bear has sole possession of the other bed.
Each dog has a cataract in one eye. They both have good eyesight in the other eye. Our vet does not recommend surgery. It would be very expensive and, more importantly, he tells us that it is very likely that the cataracts will grow back again,
Champ and Bear are obviously very attached to each other and must be adopted together.
The adoption fee for Champ and Bear together is $900. . They have been neutered, their vaccinations are up to date and they each has a microchip.

Pumpkin, female, declawed, grey and white short hair, born in 2022.
Pumpkin does not care for the other animals in her foster home.
When she comes out of her sanctuary she growls at the dogs and cats she passes.

Zeus – COURTESY POST
Courtesy Post for Zeus
Please direct all application requests and queries for Zeus to lovingdogs61@gmail.com.
Zeus, Male, Boxer/Walker Hound, 2 years old, 65 lbs.
This boy has been loved and cared for since he was a young pup and it shows. Sadly, a change in his person’s work schedule meant extended periods of Zeus being on his own and he was suffering for it. His person reached the heartbreaking decision to let Zeus go to a loving home that can give him the time and attention he needs and deserves.
Zeus is a sweet, calm and quiet boy. His tall and slender frame highlights his endearing puppy goofiness. Zeus is learning to not jump up when he’s excited or meeting people, but it’s definitely a work in progress. Because of this, a home with young excited children would not be a good fit.
Zeus has lived with cats his whole life and is great with them. He also loves the dogs in his foster home. Zeus travels well and is pretty good on leash. He is house and crate trained. His crate is an important safe zone to help him feel secure and keep him out of trouble when he’s left alone. He is looking for a home where he won’t be left alone often or for long periods.
Zeus is a wonderful boy just waiting to find a wonderful home.
Zeus has been neutered, microchipped, and his vaccinations are up to date. The adoption fee for Zeus is $600.00.

Dude – PENDING
Dude is an outstanding companion for dog savvy people. He is an easy guy when he knows what’s expected of him. Dude is at that perfect age where he is both calm and energetic. He is well mannered, friendly and affectionate, not to mention funny. Dude is the champion of making snow angels and you can expect a bit of the Husky sass chat. He enjoys playing with toys and is oh-so gentle. Dude is also good with other dogs, travels well and loves to go on walks and hikes.
Dude’s needs are simple; a home with a yard, older children or no children and strong but calm people. His personality and presence will make him an awesome addition to the right family. We shouldn’t forget his equally awesome happy dance too!
Dude has been neutered, microchipped, and his vaccinations are up to date. The adoption fee for Dude is $500.00.

Bob
We think Bob’s mix is a herding breed, possibly white shepherd or border collie. He exhibits both herding and livestock guardian traits. Bob is smart, sensitive, and responsive. He has great manners and good recall. Bob is affectionate but not needy. He is perfect for a couple or single person experienced with either of Bob’s breed groups.
Bob loves car rides and is a friendly fella. He could do well in a home with an easygoing female dog, but would also be happy to be an only dog. New dogs can make him uncomfortable and Bob will take some time to relax.
Bob has been neutered, microchipped, and his vaccinations are up to date. The adoption fee for Bob is $500.00.

Maple
Maple, Female, Redbone Hound X, 2 years old, 49 lbs.
Maple has the soulful eyes and the sensitive nature that melts hearts. She is a totally gentle girl who is just now learning that people can be as wonderful as dogs.
Maple loves being outside and playing with other dogs. She’s not keen on being left alone unless another dog is with her.
Maple was not in good shape when she came to us, but with lots of TLC from her foster mom, she has blossomed. She is still shy with strangers and loud noises frighten her. This is why we feel she needs a quiet home with a fenced yard. Maple just needs a gentle yet strong person/people to love and guide her and let her know she’s safe.
Maple has been spayed, microchipped, and her vaccinations are up to date. The adoption fee for Maple is $600.00.

Those days are gone. Now Nala is confident and curious, wanting to know what all she’s been missing. She is affectionate, cuddly and ready to please. Nala loves everyone including, strangers, children, cats, and dogs. She is housetrained and knows house rules. Nala is also great about coming when called. She just wants to learn and be loved.

Benji
Benji, Male, Labradoodle, 1.5 years old, 78 lbs.
Benji is a special dog. He is one of three boys who were dumped and it took a while before they could be secured. He was the little brother of the bunch and is still very shy. But he is also sweet, gentle and sensitive.
A fenced yard is a must for Benji to enjoy his favourite pastimes of running and playing, preferably with another dog or two. He loves other dogs of all shapes and sizes. Benji will do well in a home with a canine companion or two to help his confidence and trust grow.
Benji has come a long way since arriving at his foster home. He is house and crate trained. Benji feels secure in his crate, where he will take treats and enjoy being petted. He’s still unsure of accepting treats and pets outside of his crate. Benji travels well but would greatly prefer to stay home. He finds traffic noise terrifying. A rural environment or quiet residential area would suit him best.
Benji is looking for a true rescuer—someone who will take the time to allow Benji to bond and learn that humans aren’t scary. This person will know Benji is worth the wait and that the journey will be rewarding.
Benji has been neutered, microchipped, and his vaccinations are up to date. The adoption fee for Benji is $600.00.
