She loves to cuddle and be petted, when she decides.
Lives with many cats, dogs and young children. She prefers female humans.
Rosa – PENDING
Rosa, female Yorkie, 2 years old, 4lbs.
Rosa favours her right front leg and prefers to walk on 3 legs. Ar first we thought this could have been the result of an injury but our vet assures us that this is a birth defect. You can see from one of the pictures that she favours her front leg.
Rosa loves her walks but cant cope with her playmates when the play gets too rough.
She will then retire to her very favourite place….sitting on your lap!
If you are looking for a happy, loving friend who will keep you company on walks (She can easily be carried if she gets tired), and who will be very happy to warm your lap in the house, then Rosa is the perfect dog for you.
The adoption fee for Rosa is $500. She has been spayed, her vaccinations are up to date and she has a microchip.

She is very affectionate with people and loves the many cats in her foster home.
Styx was found outside, a stray. She is grateful to get inside.
Seneca
Seneca, Male, Akbash, 1 year old, 92 lbs.
Even at 1 year old it is easy to see the magnificent dog Seneca will become. He was born on a farm where his parents protect fowl. Since then he has been a working companion to people, goats and horses.
Seneca is sensitive and smart. He is very affectionate with people he trusts and is shy with strangers. Much like a shy kindergartener on the first day of school, Seneca will hide behind his person when he’s uncomfortable.
Seneca has the interesting combination of courage and coward which is a common personality type of the breed. This personality type makes for funny memories and stories. Seneca is so endearing and amusing.
Being an exceptionally devoted boy, Seneca will go where and do what his people want. But what Seneca wants is to be at home where he feels comfortable and happy doing his job of keeping watch over his world.
Seneca would love a homestead, farm or other rural setting to call his own. He is a wonderful companion and is well on his way to being a fabulous guardian.
Seneca has been neutered, microchipped, and his vaccinations are up to date. The adoption fee for Seneca is $600.00.

Freddie – PENDING
Freddie: male, labradoodle 5 years old 70lbs
Everyone meet Freddy! This boy is just wonderful. Freddy is a quiet affectionate boy who is eager and happy to please.
He travels well, gets on with everyone and everything! This includes dogs, cats, and children.
He is house trained.
Unknown how he would be in a crate but his foster has just left him loose in the home when out and he’s been good as gold. Freddy walks well on lead and is also quite good off lead! His favorite thing to do is be outside with his people running around.
While this well rounded boy would adapt well in any home. We feel his ideal place would be a quieter home as he can be a bit timid when there is a lot of commotion.
Freddy is Vet checked, neutered and up to date on all vaccinations.
Freddies Adoption fee is 500.00

Chance, Male, Walker Hound, 3 years old, 55lbs
Chance is a mystery dog.
He was found running on a highway with his pads raw from running on a hard surface.
Nobody ever claimed him and Home Again was happy to take Chance in and send him to a great foster.
Here is some of what she has told us about Chance.
She says that there are so many good things to say about Chance.
Chance loves children of all ages. Chance is great with cats
Chance is crate trained and sleeps all night without making a sound. Chance is good with other dogs and the foster’s own dog and Chance have become best friends.
Chance loves to go for walks and is amazing on leash. He does not pull at all. She has not let him run free.
Chance is house trained.
What more could we say about this beautiful boy? Everything suggests to us that he has been a house pet and not a working Hound.
Now we are looking for a forever home for Chance which will continue the good start he has had with his foster. If you think that your home will be the right one for Chance we will be happy to hear from you.
The adoption fee for Chance is $550. He has been neutered, his vaccinations are up to date and he has a micro chip.

CATS FOR SENIORS
Home Again expands its services to include one for seniors who want the companionship of a cat but want to ensure the cat will have a home if the cat outlives the senior person.
The senior pays no adoption fee because he/she would take a Home Again cat that would otherwise not be adopted because of the cat’s age or unsocial nature.
The senior would pay for the cat’s food, litter and veterinary care, for life. If the senior passes away before the cat, Home Again brings the cat back into the program available for the next senior.
This program would allow Home Again to save so many cats that need to be re-homed because their owner died or went into a nursing home and the cat is used to a quiet home without any other pets. Adult cats are difficult to re-home because they like what they are accustomed to. If a cat lives without other cats, they strongly object to re-homing into a house with cats.
All Home Again fosters have other cats, so soloist cats cannot be fostered by Home Again. This program is a winner for many needy cats, seniors, and the people who must help seniors settle their affairs.
CONTACT US if you need a cat to love or you need to re-home a senior cat into a like-home.
Ginny – PENDING
Welcome to the Harry Potter Litter ~ 12 gorgeous Great Pyrenees pups.
Ginny: Great Pyrenees, female, approx. 15lbs, 8 weeks old
Like many of her siblings Ginny is a bit shy but adjusts quickly and is wonderfully cuddly. She resembles her mom in an all-white coat. Ginny is also a tiny bit smaller than some of her litter mates. She was born and raised on a farm to a working Great Pyrenees mom who protects sheep and fowl. The mom is well loved and her people describe her as the best guardian they have ever had. The dad is also a Great Pyrenees and lives on the farm next door. He is the guardian of goats and cows.
These pups are fun, playful, and full of personality! They would make incredible companion, working or, the best of both worlds, companions/working dogs.
Ginny has been vet checked, microchipped, and has had her first vaccinations. Home Again offers an adoption fee rebate upon receipt of proof of spay when Ginny is old enough. The adoption fee for Ginny is $650.00.

Pets are fostered in volunteers’ homes until they are adopted.
Wagging tails are gratitude enough for volunteers. The huge support of the Bancroft community is icing on the cake.
Thank you Bancroft!
Karina Vega and Christine Walker manned the pet accessories booth.
Some available-for-adoption Great Pyrenees puppies delighted shoppers with free kisses.
